What to Do If You Suspect Fraud, Waste, or Abuse

If you have evidence of fraud, waste, or abuse involving a Commonwealth of Massachusetts department, employee, or contractor, report that activity to management or an oversight agency, or blow the whistle.

If you have a whistleblower complaint involving public funds, the following contacts are available.

Employees of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are protected against retaliation for reporting violations of the law by: M.G.L. c. 149, § 185 and M.G.L. c. 12A, §14(c).
